Since discovering the meditative benefits of creating and tending bonsai trees and landscapes, we are now developing a Bonsai nursery at Cascades Gardens in Matlock, Derbyshire. We are aiming to help people wanting to learn about this intriguing and rewarding hobby and offer inexpensive starter trees, tools, pots and other materials.

In keeping with the meditation theme of our very natural and peaceful gardens, keeping bonsai is an ideal way of “getting in touch with nature”. We take this old tradition of Bonsai very seriously and see it as an extension of the way we have treated the design and care of our garden and plants within the grounds and nursery over the last 25 years.
