Namso la Lake, Tibet

Back in 1994 travelling in Tibet sitting by Nam sola (Heavenly) lake at 15,000 feet I watched an eagle soaring around me.

I felt a distinct sense of bliss and emptiness sitting overlooking this most spiritual lake in Tibet, summed up by this part of a beautiful poem by the 7th Dalai Lama.

An image of a kingly eagle gliding high in space.

Were one’s mind to glide without grasping,

In the space of truth itself

Clear and void

How excellent
